Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Delete Litter, a community service platform operated by Delete Litter LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website, the Delete Litter web application and mobile application (either, the "App"), and any other services we provide (collectively, the "Service").

2. Who Can Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts and User Information

Accounts require first name, email, and ZIP/postal code. Optional account information includes, but is not limited to, avatar image, username, bio, and social media links.

4. User-Generated Content

Users retain ownership of content posted but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for operational and promotional purposes while accounts are active.

We reserve the right to moderate or remove any content that violates our Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post misleading or harmful content
• Harass others
• Violate any laws
• Impersonate anyone

We may suspend accounts or remove content at our discretion.

6. Rewards and Gamification

The Service includes features such as Litterboards, activity points, and may include digital badging or sponsor-funded rewards. Badging and rewards may be subject to eligibility or verification review and approval. Approvals are at the sole discretion of us and/or our partners and sponsors.

7. Privacy and Data

We store data securely via Supabase and may use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PostHog). Users may delete their accounts and associated data at any time via the Profile section of the App. No targeted advertising or data sales.

8. Intellectual Property

Delete Litter LLC owns the Service and all branding. Users grant us the right to use their submitted content in promotional materials while their accounts are active.

9. Safety Disclaimer

Users are solely responsible for their safety when performing litter cleanup. We are not liable for any harm or damages resulting from user activities.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Service is provided "as is." No warranties. We disclaim liability for any direct or indirect damages.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Arizona law governs these Terms. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration (JAMS). No class actions or jury trials.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates means acceptance.
