Information You Provide:

Personal Information: When you create an account, you may provide:

  • Custom username (optional)
  • Email address (required)
  • ZIP/postal code (required)

  • Avatar photo (optional)
  • Social media account links (optional)
  • User bio (optional)

Cleanup Activity Data ("Litterlogs"): When you log cleanup activities, you may provide:

  • Cleanup date (required)
  • Cleanup location – ZIP/postal code (required)
  • Number of litter pieces collected (required)
  • Cleanup photo(s) (required)
  • Cleanup notes (optional)

By default, we do not share any personal information beyond your ZIP/postal code in the user experience.

We may collect information about your interactions with the App, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps.

Your information is stored securely using Supabase. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights and Choices

  • Account Information: You can update your account information at any time through the App.
  • Data Access and Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the Profile section in the App. Click on your avatar picture in the top-right of the app, click on your name, and click on "Account Settings" to access the "Delete Account" option. Please note that this action is permanent; your account data cannot be restored.

6. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services like Google Analytics and PostHog to analyze usage. These services collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

7. User-Generated Content

By posting content to the App, you grant Delete Litter a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Services, including for marketing purposes, as long as your account remains active.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will take steps to delete the information.

9. International Users

By using the Services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where we operate.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
